Halfords wheel trims

Just been to Halfords, and they have these really 'nice' plastic spinner wheel trims, with a picture of a car wearing them on the box.

This (yellow) car looks very much like a 964RS; have they hit the market just right ?

What, me, stand in Halfords with a digital camera (that I don't own), photographing a box ?

They also have air fresheners, with a picture of an SC/3.2 on the box. Still no picture, though.

They are really smart - two tone brown plastic, curved spokes, and I assume that they spin whilst in motion !
Tend to restrict air flow a bit, but a small price to pay.

Thanks for the tip off John

I've just been down to Halfords and bought a set for my RS...figured it was cheeper than getting the mag wheels refurbished.

Spose you'll be wanting a set now Des so your car can look as good as mine

They're called "Cyclone" and the picture on the box looks like a Turbo II...They fill the arches beautifully.

Des will only have them if there's a big Porsche crest stuck on them. He often forgets what car he's in, apparently [:D]

Mr Dinger, I had a look in Halfords today and the car you refer to is a Turbo 2 shape which would be more in line with Turbo owners..........

Do I detect a slight humour loss here ?

Interesting play on my name.
