Handbrake.....

Mine is quite odd - sometimes it doesn't seem to purchase at all and just swings up about 6 inches (usually with a loud noise) as if it's popped off the cable cam.
I then replace the lever back down again and usually it works fine!
Is this just me or is this a known fault?
Cheers

YvesD, check with your OPC as there is a handbrake recall active for the 997.
Mine has been done, apparently an extra cable fixing is required to re-route cable?
Best of luck.
Thanks, I will see what they have to say monday.
Regards
Yves

No handbrake recall but an outstanding recall to have PASM2 software updated !. So when were they going to let me know that then ?
Anyone else had it done ?
I haven't heard about that one before has anyone else? It doesn't affect my sports suspension but knowledge is always useful. No handbrake recall but an outstanding recall to have PASM2 software updated !.
