A call from your OPC to tell you that your car completed manufacturing yesterday!

I've just had that call!

Now waiting on dates for factory collection!

As we know, everything comes to he who waits,.............. if you have the odd year or two to spare.

I signed a letter of intent (with four OPCs) and placed a deposit (with one of them) on 23 November 2013 (the day after the official launch), due to collect from Leipzig on 9 October.

I was at the local OPC day it was show to the Public ( eve ) it looks a nice car.. reminds me of the Audi but I guess that's the problem with modern cars.

But I did like it I got to say, esp the Glass roof on the model I looked at or was it two big sunroof's ? either way I am sure your be stoked when it comes.

I have seen a couple out and about. Just enough time to work out it's one before it's gone ! :) Enjoy!

It's the biggest car we've ever had; but enjoying it, very comfortable and very quiet inside,... until you let the beast loose!

The Macan is becoming our day to day car and is a great contrast to the Cayman.

We have specified it modestly, resisting the temptation of bigger wheels, tyres and fancy seats.

Across Europe (850 miles from Leipzig to home) it was very comfortable, I could not fault the standard seats, it was exceptionally quiet inside and the standard stereo system was very good. Underway the size seemed to disappear - only coming back when parking in European underground hotel car parks with all their pillars! Even then the reversing camera was a great help, instilling confidence.

I can see that a Macan turbo (the 3.6 engine, we all know that the 3.0 petrol is also twin turbo) could be all the Porsche you need.

Very pleased with the purchase, our first brand new Porsche and first factory collection.
