I'm trying to get into a Xmas spirit, but finding it a bit hard, so I thought you might accept my best wishes by this quick sketch.

Thank you to everyone who has helped with the Lola Porsche build, you had better keep it up in 2009!

Incase it is too small for some, there are 2 deliberate mistakes here (and i dare say a few accidental ones...).
But: can you find my two?

Graham.

Not in this car!

The Subaru forum boys are ahead by 2 'corrects' so far...

To encourage you all: Rear tyre, AVON is upside down.
NSF tyre, wear indicators missing off the slicks.

Now you know how close you need to look![:D]

Jane:

Yes, all my own doing, done them for years, mainly of 911's though.
You might like the one below. (just noticed I sketched this one in '97..[&:]

Santa's head wrong way round? Nah: if he can squeeze down a billion chimneys in one night, he can turn his head a few extra degrees!

Well Graham hats off to you what a wonderful talent [;)]

Santas boots are different colours? [8D]

Nope!
Those are headlamps and the light from one is responsible for the colour change!

you must think 'techie'

The subaru boys are up to 5 now found, 4 are mine and one is my 'undeliberate mistake' [&:] (lapse of concentration)

Graham,
However much fun this might be for the Subaru Clique, it is wasting time when you might be horizontal fanning.
[no emotican for yawn]

That is very true. I should be in the Den riveting and welding!

I crumpled my hand last weekend working on the Lola and thought a week off would help prepare for a Big Push over Xmas.

I even went to Demon Tweeks yesterday!

I have a Xmas work plan to meet:[>:]

Finish the dry sump mount fabrication off.
Put the engine and box back in and finish the engine mounts off.
Re-fit all the suspension
Mount front and rear body clams: lots of thin wall brace tubes and alignment to do. will takes for ages I know.[:'(]
Re-form the side pods to match the body sides (too wide at the moment) and rivet them in place.[]
Run the rear brake lines. Was going to use Goodridge hose but sooo $$$ so copper nickle instead unless I change my mind (possible)
Order the dry sump adaptors from Smart Racing in the USA (more $$$)
Order the custom cooler from Pace.[:(] ($$$$$$$$)

Get ticket to autosport show as it will be crunch time on the clutch to buy.
Probably a twin plate from Super Clutch as I know the owner well.

Remember I have a wife, so must not ignore her as she is the Racing Team's finance director/ budget controller.[;)]

I would like to get the silencers and mount them as a cherry on the cake.

Work continues to look a bit iffy, so need to be careful.....[]
