After two years, I could no longer tolerate the scuffs and scratches to my Hardshell seat backs, that were inherited from the previous owner.

Unable to find advice on the forum, nor a local body repair shop that was prepared to take on the work, Charlie McLaughlin came to the rescue and suggested that I approach Graham Pearce of Classic Restore in Eastleigh.
Rather than have the seatbacks resprayed to the original factory grey, I opted for Porsche Guards Red.

[FONT=verdana, geneva"]The cost for the work was £580 but if, like me, you should happen to be a mere mortal, then add a further 20% in tax, to the Government.
.....and here's what the car looks like from behind:

super job. did he remove the leather or just mask around? and was his cost for all of the removal and refitting work too?

Fantastic job and finish......makes the car look great(er) than it already did from the rear.

Thank you all for your kind responses.
To answer your question JCX...they were able to leave the seats in position and simply unwrap the leather from the 'uprights'.
The hardshell seat backs could then be removed for treating and respraying.
Had the car been a Coupe however, then the seats would require removal.
....and thanks for the post editing Lancerlot, to show the photo's. I used Photobucket as suggested (to save on forum memory) and thought that readers simply clicked on the Gobbledegook string of characters, to view each picture!!
