The above event is on fathers day! Might make a pleasant change to the norm.

Entries are in the following catagories:

25 years and older- Pre war car / Post war saloon / Sports car / Motorcycle

Or

American car / Kit car / Military /Commercial / Club

We fall in the club catagory. Cost is £5 per car.

For club entries I will submit the booking form with the following details:

Name of Club/Model which is obviously Porsche!
Number of vehicles attending
Total cost i.e. £5 per car

I will pay the cost of entry. Those attending can pay me on the day.

Is anyone else interested? Take a picnic and enjoy a lovely day out looking at vehicles, grounds and trade stands etc.

I will call our group area " Porsche Club GB Region 8 - East Midlands"

Regards

Robin

We are already putting together a club stand from the Yorkshire region I suggest that we join together and try to make one huge club area. There is a prize for the best club display.

It is worth noting that the cost is £5 per car for the first 10 cars and £1.25 there after. The price includes a family entry ticket in to Harewood (House not included) for two adults and two or three children.

It is a brilliant day out and excellent value for money very busy with huge numbers of cars to see. BUT you NEED to arrive early to avoid the queues, ideally before 10 on the display areas.

Each club also gets to parade their cars around the central arena and you get a 5 minute discussion with the compare to talk about the cars.

Hi Mark,

I agree. Can our region join in with yours. I will put our regions 7/8 together on the form.
Up to now there is no interest at all from our region. Just Billy No Mates, me. Ah well I shall enjoy a lovely day out.
Looking forward to it.

Kind regards

Robin

We have 8 cars signed up from Yorkshire so far. We need to get the entrance form in by the 11th June.

I was talking to the lady that organises all the entries yesterday and she hasn't started work on them yet, but will do after our event at Harewood next Sunday, so I suggest we aim to get the form in the post by the end of this week. I will post final numbers on Thursday after our monthly meeting on Wednesday.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the update. I will send our form off on Monday. I have put on the form Porsche Club GB Regions 7/8.
Looking forward to the event and to joining your Region.

Many thanks

Kind regards

Robin
