Harewood Concours

A quick reminder that there is still time for you to enter the Regional concours at Harewood House on Sunday 8th June.

This year we are not charging for entries but we are limiting the numbers in each class to 15. The concours cars will be the centre-piece of what promises to be a fabulous day out. What better way can there be to show off your pride and joy to several hundred Porsche fans?
[FONT=verdana, geneva"]If you would like to enter please post here or e-mail me at r7@porscheclubgb.com and I will send you the entry form to complete. In the meantime, happy cleaning! [FONT=verdana, geneva"]

The roll pin that secures the clutch pedal to it's shaft is help in place by a roll pin.

This came out and needed to be hammered back in --- by no less than Dave Sutherland.

The words are the same in English --- but I guess the explanation helps --- and of course it didn't roll out, but I like the alliteration (?)

Hope the weather is better for next Sunday's show. See you all at the club night on Wednesday, anything happenig?

John

Mark Jessop is giving a presentation about the early years of Porsche, provided we can use the function room, that is.

By the way, I second your thoughts about the weather for next Sunday!

Ian

There will be a few from the N E region coming over as all ways, setting off from Scotch corner at about 10 30am

Graham

Hi,
Anyone can attend the Harewood Show, the house and grounds are open to the paying public. All Porsches are ALWAYS welcome.

Regards
John

How are you arranging the parking? Will our Northeast region be able to have a designated parking area within the main arena or will we need to park in the open area outside of the arena, if you see what I mean [&:] !!

Thanks

Might be able to make it.... what is the cost for entry if coming in Porsche? Seemed a bit cheeky last year charging us for entry when our cars were the main attraction.

Colin

Got home from the Harewood event a couple of hours ago, we all really enjoyed it (the weather obviously helped)!! It was my first 'club event' since joining early in the year - thankyou to the lady on your 'R7' stall who kindly gave my wife a couple of R7 stickers which are now displayed with pride.
Thanks to the organisers of the event for an enjoyable day.

Doug
