Harnesses

I'm starting to think about harnesses for my car and am rather bewildered by the amount of choice. From what I understand I think I want a 5 or 6 point setup with 3" belts but other than that I'm a bit lost. Is there any real difference between brands other than the name on them (assuming they're FIA marked)? Any recommend vendors? (I've used GP Racewear before who always seem good, but am open to alternatives). From what I've seen they seem to be sold as one size fits all, so at least that part seems easy, unless I've misunderstood that too!

Peter, I am amazed at the choice and variety of harnesses available and have certainly taken my time in deciding what to buy. I am going for a 6 point harness because the extra security it will give is worth it for only a small increase in cost. Demon Tweeks had a sale on before Christmas with some very good deals on 4,5 and 6 point harnesses. Stu at K300 sells harnesses, so may well be worth giving him a ring.

I decided that a lot of the differences are down to personal choice, some harnesses are easier to adjust, some have better buckles some are really stupid colours. I decided I would go with what I liked which is why I am buying TRS harnesses and I will be getting them from Motordrive.
