Hartech open day

It's not only North of the Thames, it's North of Watford Gap - so you need your passport and an armed escort!![:D][:D][:)]

Bolton is in the deep south for me. Although if there's a load of you guys coming up from the far far south then maybe some of us could venture

I try to avoid Lancashire without having a very good reason... Im sort-of interested but I travelled there last year and wasn't particularly happy with my interaction with Grant (or whatever his name is).

Not a very good reason to avoid Lancashire - unless of course you have some other reason??

Born at Darley maternity home in Two Dales, but my family is all from Sheffield and I am an adopted Yorkshireman. I share their values along with their prejudices... [:D]

Surprised to read this. Bought my 968 from them last year and mainly dealt with Grant. I thought he'd be your 'cup of tea'? I found him straightforward, straight talking, relaxed, non-pushy etc. All round, was a very easy transaction (special thanks to Martin on here too re my 968 purchase). I'll try to make this trip. Hope you go too.

Cheers Steve, glad to help [;)]

They service mine and Ruddy's 944's and I find that Tobias and the rest of the team are great to deal with

I hope to be down for this visit as well

Ok I have pencilled this into my diary. I am going to try very hard to make this one but, will not be able to commit fully until mid
March. I will hopefully have my '44 Turbo back form JMG by then and, be ready to give it a good outing [8D][:D]. Hope I can make
this one guys [8D][:D]

Pete, digs here if you require them, bear in mind i am 1 1/2 past Bolton in the frozen north, but the drive would blow you away scenery wise turn off at M6 Jct 36 and come up through the lakes, Kendal, Windermere, Grasmere, Keswick then on to ours in the far flung reaches.

Or we could organise something in the Lakes for our Southern Brethren ?

Thank you Jim', that's most kind of you! I will certainly bear that in mind should I be able to attend [:D]. I'm no stranger to
beautiful Cumbria. I done a lot of running about in the fells weighed down by a huge Bergen (rucksack) back in the day [;)][:)].

Im sure that youre right Steve. I was really offended at the time though. I will focus on the organ grinder and not worry too much about the monkey. [:D]
