Firstly , a huge thanks to the Scott and the gang for a great run today via The loch Fyne Oyster Bar - it was just great to get out , forget the recent hideous weather and enjoy some ' me ' time ! Really really enjoyed it - thanks again everyone ...........................anyway I need you thoughts on this , its not technically Porsche related but here goes -

Im 40 in April and Im looking for a motor related holiday - I found out about the Autostadt in Wolfsburg : http://www.autostadt.de/en/home.html has anyone been here ?? Not Porsche I know but could tie this in with a visit to the Porsche Museum -

- all in put much appreciated -

Many thanks

Barry .

We went on the PCGB organised Porsche Factory Tour last April, and I would heartily recommend it you. It would probably work out cheaper than organising it yourself, and if you were driving there, you could probably take in the VW Autostadt as well on your own. We did the Porsche factory and museum, Mercedes Museum, Audi R8 factory tour plus lots more. It really is superb, you are in great company, but best of all is that by going with the club, you get access to things you would never get just going solo. [;)]

and some of my pics from last year on my facebook page http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=222246&id=605867925&l=a90bd54c8b

Barry - you could come along to the track boys trip to the nurburgring/spa etc - no need to take your car out on track, its a great social event and you'll come home with lots of stories and a smile a mile wild....its not for the feint hearted though [;)]

Cheers Barry,

The factory visit by PCGB is excellent I hear.

So are the boys trip to ring and Spa, normally they go out april (ish) and end of September, I will be on the Sept trip, you dont have to do alot of track time but it is a great laugh from start to finish.

I fully intend to do an overseas trip with the club this year - Ive communicated with PCGB HQ and there is an organised factory trip in April , Ive read the itinerary an it looks truly superb ..............but.............its fully booked :-( . I'll assure you I'll be there on a forign trip this summer - I'll need to take the lead from some of the experienced boy with regards to which trip to go on . On a different note Im still trying to get something a bit special arranged for my 40th ......proving difficult .
