Has anyone owned DK09 ZTV?

A car that old should have 3/4 services including one or two majors including plugs and brake fluid changes and have the associated paperwork. if the paperwork is missing ring the OPC's that did the servicing saying you've just bought the car and they will more often than not tell you the oyher work they've carried out, also ask about any recalls. if the car has done 40-60k, good chance it's due or has had 1or 2 sets of tyres, front brake discs, ac condensors the odd radiator plus if they are gullsble more work like shocks, wishbones

All of the above records will give you a better idea of how its bwen looked after. Likewise the absence of them or haphazard servicing

Another good stop is the DVLA MOT Check Web Portal https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/
This shows as much MOT history information as the car is old (or at least as far back as when the system was digitised) and it a great way of matching up any remedial work related to an MOT Failure or advisories noted during the test.
This car shows that it's had a pretty clean life so far (and that it's not accrued much mileage year-on-year since 2013) although the odd scattering of test dates indicate that it's changed hands a fair few times, and been given a fresh ticket for the new owner.
I'd also be checking that the headlamp adjusters were either repaired or replaced given that it failed on them two years in a row, how much time passed before the rear brake pads (and discs?) were replaced as they were noted as low in the test in 2012, and how long it was driven before that knackered tyre was replaced!
