Has anyone retro-fitted GT3 styling to a 996?

Hi

Im looking to buy a 996 in the near future, and have been trawling the net looking for prospective cars. I am ideally after a 996 with full GT3 kit, as I think it looks stunning!

However I have seen some 996s without gt3 kit which look like very good buys..........so I am now wondering how much it would cost to 'GT3' an ordinary 996?

Is it just the sideskirts/spoiler/front bumper and alloys?

Has anyone actually done this?

Have a look at www.essentialstyling.com for an idea - Simon is normlaly pretty competitive.

With the current exchange rate it might be worth importing from the US - even after import duty and VAT you could be better off
 
It will cost you around £3-4k fitted and painted I reckon - probably worth getting a factory fitted kit - will be better for resale too
 
Depending on how far you want the GT3 look, you may want to consider 18" sport design wheels, M030 lowered sports suspension (-10mm), and a sports exhaust. I spent 6 months looking and finally found one with everything at an independent for liitle more than a "standard" 996.

Thanks for your comments but I'm not intending to sell in the forseeable future. Keep looking as there are cars out there.
