Hastings 30th June

I've just bought a 944 and would like to come to this meet from Ashford, when and where do you meet exactly?

Edit - just realised the Hastings trip is before the next monthly meet! Robin, your best bet is to email R25@porscheclubgb.com. They're meeting up at The Oak and Ivy Hawkhurst for coffee at 10, leaving there at 11, but Pearl wanted bookings and payment by 15th June so you'd better email and grovel quickly!!

Monthly meet is 2nd Wednesday of the month, 7.30 onwards (or arrive earlier for food!) at the Kentagon Suite at Brands Hatch. Easy from Ashford (I'm in Woodchurch!) - up the M20 onto the M26 then off at the first exit on the M26, 3rd exit at the roundabout then follow the signposts to Brands, turn in at the main entrance - at the occasional traffic lights by the hotel, 1/4 mile past the petrol station on the right. At the gate, if you're stopped, just say Porsche Club and they'll wave you through. Follow the road until you see all the parked Porsches. Takes me about 40-45 mins from Woodchurch.

Look for the people wearing yellow PCGB sweaters or T shirts - there's normally 4 of them (RO's Phil and Pearl, committee members Trevor and Lesley) - and say hello!

Chris, many thanks for your reply, have sent an email as you suggested, I have seen your car many times as one of my cleaning customers lives opposite you, will be there again Friday, small world!

That can only be Lee with his X5 M - and his recently acquired M4. Despite living opposite me, and seeing both my 968 coupe and now the cab, he stayed with BMW when he decided to get a toy.

Hope you get onto and enjoy the Hastings trip - we lived close to Hastings for 24 years so are giving it a miss. Hope to see you at Brands next month.

Chris, it was good to meet you yesterday, sorry I didn't have much time to talk, hopefully will see you at tge next Brands meet
