Have decided to sell my C4S

After much deliberation, I've decided to sell my 911 (997) C4S, as I currently can't justify keeping it, given the mileage it is doing.

To date it's been my only experience of Porsche ownership, and it has been an amazing 2 years. No matter how bad the day at work, and no matter how late I've arrived back at the station, it's never failed to put a smile on my face on the way home, and on those special weekend drives.

I'm sure I will be back in another Porsche at some point in the not too distant future - it's advertised in the classifieds, if anyone would be interested.

From memory didn't you get into the 911 at the same time as me (Jan'06) and also from an M3?

I got out of mine for reasons of depreciation being about £1.50 a mile (£9k pa @ 6k miles pa), but have to admit that I do miss the car, more than any other car I have owned, so I am still not convinced that it was my best decision - especially if the residuals flatten out at some time soon.

Yes, you are correct - it is a March '06 car.

Costs of £1.50 sounds about right, but having said that, well worth it !

ive done average 4-5k miles a yr so depreciation probably more than that even....but youre a long time dead!![:D]ive just written off the whole purchase price mentally so will just continue having the fun and try to forget about the £`s[;)]
 
I was running two cars, 996 C4 and Vectra VXR .. now just the RS4, two for the price of one I call it ...

£1,000 off - now £58,950 to include 2-year service (due shortly), 1-year warranty extension and 1-year road tax

I've just remembered - my car also has the on-board tyre-pressure monitor as well!
