Just before anyone makes me jealous by describing how good it is I have just one thing to say:

Anyone going tonight, I'll have the new format Register stickers with me so please introduce yourselves. I'll wear my official shirt, so you'll know who I am as I'll be the only twit in a stupid shirt.....[:'(]

These are for members of the Register only!

Look forward to seeing you all later, off to rinse the mud off the car now, followed by a trip to Ikea on the way. [][][]

[][][] I've got to sit and listen to a leacture on the new 2006 JCT Standard form of building contract. Including how and why it has been updated... I cannot think of anything I would less like to do!!

I want to talk Porsche instead!

Ben

I'm not going there again. LIL seemed to want to stay there and so I didn't get home until past 1am. The reason she wanted to stay was the silly amateur who installed my MAF (that will be me then [:-]) did not secure the wiring properly. When I came to go home and pop my lights up, the raising mechanism ripped my wiring loom to shreds []

Luckily for me two knights in shining armour (Tony Foote ably assisted by Peter Empson) managed to strip back all the wires, work out which one went where and then secure them properly using a portable soldering iron. All of this on the side of the road in the dark. It took me longer to do it myself in my garage with all the instructions

Thanks guys, today you are my hereoes, in fact you are ACE!!!!! [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]

Thanks for fitting my spoiler decal Rick looks great, amazing repair work to Paul's MAF wiring by the side of the road by Tony, it(LiL) sounds amazing on "flyby" like a Jet,amazingling busy meetup (was a bit worried by the Post office lorrys),but all in all a real good night out [:D] Got home well past my bedtime(nearly 2- ish i think),a mini adventure.[:)]

Was a great gathering - amazed at the number of folk who showed up. Sorry didnt get to meet more of the 944 crowd - kept on getting distracted [;)]

What an Ace night (sorry you missed it Fen). Tony did a great job getting Paul's car going, nice work! Glad to hear you got back safely without incident, Paul.

Shame about the 911 incident on the roundabout, hope it wasn't terminal for the poor car [:(]

On the way home I had the pleasure of following the nigh on 800bhp pair of Mark and Paul up the M1 and admired their spoiler decals. Seriously, pictures of them cannot do justice to how good they look at night. I think the white against Mark's red car is a particularly nice contrast.

Already looking forward to the one next month![:D]
