Hi no posts for a while have we all defected now then.... oh..

hello.....hello....hello.............

Well .... I am still bouncing between the 2 - respect to Gavin you poor chap who has to look after this board.

PS - not a popular comment I know, but I feel this board works very nicely - like being able to 'subscribe' to a thread (just found similar now on 'other' one) and the soft cool colours also help when reading - just my own preferences but ...

Its great if you guys want to start your own thing, no problems there, good luck.
There's a lot of hard work ahead let me assure you.

I hope sincerely that you still remain members and continue to come to this forum, which is where we all met in the first place.

Can I respectfully ask that you keep threads here 'on topic'.

I'm all confused. I've found and joined the over forum... I was scared on missing out of something.

But it all seems to much - eggs in one basket comes to mind.

I guess we come to forums to discuss our common interest and help each other out on all sorts... Need I go on.

But I also believe in free speech and some off topic conversation now and again!

Gavin is right.

Never meant to be in competition or an alternative - more a side dish or an extra [;)]

It is a bit of all things to all men (classic fans) and women! It has to be. We need as many 'eggs in the basket' to appeal to ALL classic fans and owners - no newbie Porsches though [:D]

We'll encourage people to benefit from PCGB membership as I think it has massive benefits to owners - we never want to be the enemy, just an extra!

sorry to be negative but what!!!!!!

thats' why it was set up. Gavin has been the leader of the 912 gang as it were but it was not with out Gavin risking upsetting the PCGB heads. It's this additude (PCGB) that has upset so many people. I get the mag PP 2mins flick though then filed I go a meeting every now and then OK and talk to you guys. Thats the benefits to me and many others as well. Massive benefits are discounts ,no big brother vetting all your mail..........

with the other club we are all togeather 914 911 912 356 and it's great I am interested in getting behind a 914 since chatting and getting my 356 going again still 911 owner ship is scary to me still...

M
ar!! that's better..

A big thanks to Gavin for pushing as hard as he has in the past and the work he has done.

Come on, it gives you the chance to stay in 5* hotels for long weekends, on various organised functions; where else would you get this chance ?

(Sorry, pet gripe)

LOL you have no idea I have stayed in so many 5/4 star hotels in the past it was part of my job that I have had my fill for now...

Nice to be home for a while, chatting to you guys [:D]
at the end of the day it's all good fun. We can't let the big club thing ruin the freindship we have here after all it's only a car .... te he
