Have you left your car at Gatwick?

I am fed up getting a taxi to and from Gatwick. I would very happily drive to and from, but I then consider that something may happen to the car whilst unattended. So has anyone left their car at Gatwick and did anything untoward occur?

Hi Mike - never had any problems. Go to the USA once a month and leave the car for a week or so. Cheers

HI MIke,
my husband is a regular user of all the uk air ports, we have left all types of cars (even once left his brief case on front seat open, with mobile phone, keys ect on show.........not recommended.) so far in 20 years he has never had any problems.

I use PAS Direct.

They collect your car from the Departure entrance, and on your return bring the car back to Arrivals.

Phone for details 01293 551557 or Mobile 07836690070.

Cost no more than airport parking and much more convenient.

I keep a set of jump leads in the car when parking at Heathrow, after a week of the alarm being set off by Concorde, the battery is pretty low. This won' t be a problem after October.....unless Branson buys the fleet. I' ve never had a problem and have never seen evidence of anyone else' s car having been broken into or vandalised. Mind you, I keep the Boxster at home and drive the shopping wagon to the airport !
