have you seen the new Cayenne

managed to sneak a look at Reading OPC a few weeks ago in the back lot .. but was stopped from really looking at it .. Am going to the launch so will see it then...

My problem is do I go Panemera or Cayenne .........

I saw the new Cayenne at the Swindon launch (apparently first in UK) earlier this week. It looks a little wider and lower at the front, mainly due to the new headlamp shape (gives impression of a wider car). The front wings also have a 'sharper' curve along the top, generally looks a little more chiselled all round.

I'm not in the market for one, just went along with a friend who owns an 'old model' Cayenne S.

I was amused that my 1992 964RS which weighs 1250kg will do 0-62mph in around 5 seconds, and a 2007 Cayenne Turbo has a 0-62mph time of 5.1sec but weighs almost twice as much!

The grill on the Turbo looks very much like the Audi I thought.
There is no change at all on the inside
I can't make my mind up yea or nay.
I am told the drive is better?

The dealer launch is tomorrow night in Guildford, so why not find out where your local OPC is doing theirs and just show up for a preview

even though I cancelled my order for the new Cayenne, I popped into a OPC today to view the facelift.
I have to say the new front end of the Cayenne is a massive improvement on the old one ( & I liked the old look)
sports tailpipes also look the part, much better than the quad tips on the CT.
the facelift gets a big thumbs up from me [:D]

I went to the OPC launch last evening.

I also like the new look. I was disappointed that the interior was exactly the same. The only new feature is some extra stitching on the leather options!

However, I would like to test one with the new PDCC to see how much of a difference that makes. I suspect it will make the car handle even better than the old one, with the extra power too!

So I'm tempted, but too many other things to spend my money on - like the 356 project!

Also went to an OPC launch on Tuesday - the car looks quite different from the front, but I thought the back looks really smart especially the new diffuser and exhaust exits. Prefer the Turbo front but sadly budget won't stretch to that...

went to the launch and quite liked the look, outside, however, were quite a few old shape vehicles, including one turbo. Price wise these are dropping faster tahn a stone, and I'm sure it won't be long before sub £35k turbos are out there.... particulalry if people trade up to the new model.. when they go sub £30 k I might be tempted...
