Have you tried the recalls?

Tried it - no outstanding recall.. wey-hey. Nothing in any service log though to indicate any recall corrections.

David at the other end of the email address was lightening in responding (an hour later).

I presume data is recalled from the Porsche database which I imagine OPC's enter as and when vehicles turn up.

Should there be a stamp/notice somewhere that says this work was done? I presume also that while a free part fit/correction, the OPC bills Porsche for the work carried out(?) - being a cynic, any chance they would have entered this work in but not done the work?

Also (more questions), is there publicly available information listing Porsche recall items?

WM02 recall is outstanding on your vehicle, possible replacement of fuel sensor.

Obviously your nearest dealer is Porsche east London, next to the Bow flyover.

Cheers

David

Enquiry sent Sunday evening, David replied 07:23 Monday Morning - Impressive !!!

I'm not sure if manufacturer's recalls get recorded in the owners handbook or on any paperwork. I know it's not Porsche, but I recently had a recall on the steering wheel control unit on my R32 - no paperwork was available for me to take away and nothing to add to the service book despite asking the service manager

JCT600 in Leeds didn't mark my service record when they did the steering and rear brake bias mods on my 964 N-GT.

But it is recorded by Porsche against the Vin number ...
