hazard lights

Arghh, please help. My hazard lights keep coming on and going off continually, (had to drive 180miles on the motorway being flashed by lorries continually) seems worst in the wet, they also do it when the car is locked so I then have a flat battery in the morning. My garage had it for 2 days and couldn't find a fault.
Anyone got any ideas what may be wrong?

Guess it is a short circuit of some kind .If it is just the Hazards i wonder
if it is possible to disconnect the old wires and run new ?
Your leccy man should be able to let you know but first why not try
a genuine porsch outfit they may have heard of the problem.
I think we have all had some leccy gremlins on our KN's

Just an idea ..

My Cayenne is rubbish and any help with these motors is something ..
Good luck ! ..
