head gasket failure?

Hi need advice
Driving my c2 cab today all of a sudden the oil pressure drops to zero and a warning light comes on, a few seconds later all ok done this twice in five minutes. I got home and checked my oil & noticed yellow gunk in the cap & funnel of the oil resivoir. Is a sign of head gasket failure? Would this be covered under warrenty by porsche as I 've just renewed it in Jan.
Thank you

First thing to do would be to see if there is any trace of oil in the water header tank. Also, did the oil on the dip stick look milky? I wouldn't worry about the mayo in the filler cap and neck - it is very common, especially in this damp weather.

It sounds to me like it could be a dodgy pressure sender - a fairly common failure. Best get it checked out as soon as possible though.

Mayo in the filler neck normal, every one I've serviced is like that. Sounds like a faulty oil pressure switch but could be a faulty gauge on the off chance.
