Hello Guys( & Girls!)
Have managed to persuade "management"[;)] that it would be a great idea to do the Stelvio Pass Tour this year with CCT. Now the question is how do I go about getting the headlamps to be legal for this tour[8|]? I'm sure the question has been asked before!!!
Many thanks
Edward

Its detailed in the handbook - no need for deflectors. Remove headlamp unit, remove rear cover, move switch across, replace cover and headlight.

I managed to do both of mine whilst on the chunnel train with 20 minutes to spare.

Thanks Black80XA! - I'm going on a ferry so won't be able to go on the car deck.
Any other suggestions- Mark B. any thoughts about the cut-out & stick-on deflectors?
Cheers

stick on defelctors don't work with projector beam headlights - you could swap them over whilst in the queue for the ferry or in a layby before after sailing - its no more than 20 minutes total for both units.

Edward, You might find this thread helps....

Alan,
Many thanks - I'll give it a go and hope for the best[:-][8|]

Now where did I put that 14lb lump hammer just in case i need it[;)]

Cheers
Edward

You can easily do the swap over prior to you leaving home, the change only removes the kick up on the left of the headlight pattern, so easy enough light to still drive in the UK with it done. You'll just lose the extra kerbside light.

Might just try a dummy run before we go to make sure I can do the job OK[8|][;)]
