Head Light Washer!

Right I located a Headlight washer pump and tried to fit it over the weekend, however does anyone have a good idea of how to get the plastic water pipe to actually go over the pump otlet, it is like getting a elephant through an eye of a needle, after screaming and swearing for two hours I gave up, which has lead me with no wtare in my wash tank!

Also my interior lights for the heating panel and fog light swithes have stoped working, I think it is a cable that has broke, but I have no idea which one, any ideas of what to check and to soilder!?

I will use a little of the force! Many thanks, after looking under the drivers foot well, I have noticed that I have a blue and white cable free from the fog lamp switch, coul my light problem be as simple as one wire needing soildering back? (does it run power to all of the heater lights?)

no need for force. just heat it until the tube *just* softens and it'll slip right on.Graemes method is probably safer than mine though!

That wire is probably your problem. IIRC, they do run in series, so a break in one will take them all out. Can't hurt to put it back (as long as you are sure that's where it's from that is!)

Cool, the "force" was in response to Obi Wan! I will give it a go tonight, many thanks, erm that kinda makes sense in regards to the lights I will have to dust down my soildering skills and give it a go! Now I just need to sort our the Sills, Cracked Break disk, clutch release bearing, respray, and interior, and no doubt the usual problems that plague my car and I should have a super nice and clean 944! However I am on 126k miles at the moment, is there any other totally annoying difficulties that I can expect, I am spending far more than £1000 in maintainence at the moment!
