Help...
Boxster 987.2 Spyder 2010
just about to drive to France and checked the manual to see what I need to do to change my lighting to suit driving on the right. I have xenon lights that swivel when going round corners. In the manual it says remove the head light and move a lever to the T position. Trouble is I have no lever!
I’ve checked both lights and no internal level.
So do I need to place any stickers on the head light to comply with French driving? Manual says not to stick anything to light Cluster.
Do I need do anything at all?
Thanks in advance.
Dave??

I put sitckers on my 986S headlight when visiting France (the ones from Halfords) and had no problems

If you haven't done it before the lever is not the easiest thing to spot. It's a small metal tab way down towards the front of the unit. The 'T' and 'O' are on both sides of the reflector moulding. Tbh, the last couple of times I've taken mine to France I haven't bothered doing anything because it's such a faff removing the unit, opening it up and then removing the cornering unit - and then having to do it all again when we get back home!

Once you’ve identified the small lever you’ll wonder how you’d missed it previously. It really is a quick and simple job and you have peace of mind that you’re not going to dazzle an oncoming driver and suffer the potential consequences.
Just ensure when putting your headlight units back in that they click into place otherwise the headlight may be pointing somewhat skyward.
Enjoy your trip.
