Headlamp bowl rust

Guest

New member
Can anyone tell me how its possible to replace the headlamp bowls?
Mine have both rusted where the headlamp is secured but I'm not sure how to remove them.

Thanks

Managed to source parts from Roger Bray Restoration. Most people only stock up to the '86 model. The later models have extra backets on the back and are quite a bit more expensive.
£76 each plus vat.

Panelcraft quoted me £550 for parts!

Is your only problem with the locking screws no longer gripping..? As the bowls don't look beyond repair.... If it is i'm sure any respectable body shop can weld a new piece of angled metal, and tap it for you......

I'm worried that the rust will spread to the wing beneath so I'd rather cut the whole lot out and replace.
Half done now anyway, got the parts and found someone to do the job [:)]

Cheers
