Headlamp bulb gone - Which new ones?

Hi all,

I know this has been posted before, but I wanted specific answer for my car, so I thought I would kindly ask for your advice.

Headlamp (main beam) bulb has gone on my C2- 2000- Non-xenon car.

1) Can someone point me in the direction of a new set that will be slightly brighter/whiter but will be a simple plug and play fit
2) How easy are they to fit? - Can the least practical man in the world do it (except for Clarkson) - or shall I get them fitted?

Thanks in advance all

Sam

I have been through the Headlight thing recently and came up with the solution shown on below thread. Really good combination, able to see much better at night and good colour match bulbs.

Agree that the Xenon kit would be better than the Philips Extreme bulbs I referrenced above... had other more important things to splash cash on but will be going this route at some point in time. The Philips are good for the money though in the meantime

Just tried to change the bulbs over and I came unstuck.

1) Pull carpet off side wall of boot
2) 3 black flaps - pulled those up
3) located allen key in toolkit..

Now.. I couldnt work out where to put it (it was dark) - does it goes in the flaps?

A bit more detail on how to do it will help me out loads guys - I am not adept at this kind of thing!

Thanks very much

It's behind the large round bung. Take a look at the owner's handbook:

Thanks very much - stupidly didn't think to look in the owner manual - sorry!

Anyway - will get that done asap! - excellent help.
