Headlamp converters

Hi, I am driving to France at the end of the month and would appreciate any advice on the best headlamp converters to fit. I understand that some "made for all" converters can be very confusing to fit, are there any specifically designed for fitting to Boxsters?

Do you have 'Normal' or Lintronic/Xenon headlamps?

Is you Boxster a newish model as these can have the standard lights moved by a lever under the headlight which is accessed by removing the light unit. Nor sure if this applies to xenons though. Its described in the Vehicle Handbook.

Porsche do their own for the 986, last time I took my 986 to France I used metallic tape as used by gas fitters, cheaper, better and plentiful. If you have a roll of it. Can be removed easily too.

Sorry guys, I'm having a senior moment. Just purchased the Porsche deflector kit (I know more money than sense) but there are no instructions with it and it does not appear obvious where they fit, to me anyway.

Can anyone give a good description of where they should be fitted or, better still, have a diagram?

Thanks
