Headlamp issue

Hi People.
I just swapped out my headlamps for some new one and have an issue where the drivers side lamp doesn't work anymore.
I've check the fuses, all fine. Put the old lamp back in and that doesn't work either.
None of the lights in that lamp work at all

Any suggestions?

Sounds possibly like none of the connectors at the back of the headlamp are connected together. Are you sure the headlamp is correctly located when rotating the locking tool back in place? Mine used to make a loud bang as the tool reached the locked position.

The connector inside the front wing that the headlamp slides into has probably moved. Take the headlamp out and check that it is correctly located. Sometimes I have seen broken fittings and it takes a bit of fiddling to get the connection made satisfactorily.

That was my first thought.

It appears to be locking in fine but I can't see the connector once the headlight is in to confirm.

These new headlights look to be LED not genuine Porsche I wonder if not compatible?

But agree with above posts can be difficult to locate a headlight must be in the rails and connected to the connector properly.

If all worked before sounds like something's been disturbed.

Good luck with the fix.

Ps try putting both old headlights back in see if both work

All sorted!!!

The plug on the rear connector has come away from the mounting as the yellow clip isn't there!!!

Easy fix!

Thanks for your help!!!

Spoke too soon.

The bracket is broken and can't hold the lamp socket in place.

The socket was covered in silicone sealant which I guess the previous owner used to "hold" it in.

New bracket ordered.
