I am off to France on Wednesday and have had the drivers side headlight out twice but can't find a lever to change the dip. There are 2 ' t to o ' markers either side of the plastic casing but no levers. I have bi-xenon headlamps, dynamic cornering lights. No options on either the PCM or dash menu. Can anyone confirm if they sort themselves out.

Do they look like this when you get the back off? They don't "sort themselves out"! How to guide here....assuming same as 997....

Thanks a lot but lights don't look the same. Very similar but internals in different locations. I assume it is because the Boxster lights are more triangular .
Yep. Just bought a fuel can at Halfords. Phoned the Hotel De France where I am staying. Told me the Aston Martin Club had booked most of the hotel. Hope they don't use up all the petrol

We were at the Hotel De France in the autumn last year when a classic tour had booked most of the hotel. They asked us to join in their formal dinner which was quite exciting !!
Lovely atmospheric hotel for petrol heads.

I had the same problem on my 987 Cayman with xenons.
The lever you are looking for is very small and tucked well back on the lighting unit - the handbook shows roughly where it is but the picture is quite small.
You will need a good torch to find it and a long screwdriver or similar to flick it over.
Its one of those tasks that is so easy after you've done it once that you'll wonder why it seemed so hard.

Well been in France for a week now and the only time I have needed the lights is daytime driving in the the rain. So far every day !!! Boooooooo. Meanwhile, scorcher in Scotland.
I forgot to mention the power strikes and the petrol Blockades
