Is it possible to switch the lights easily or do you need those Stickers/deflectors for standard H/lights.
Do the litronic lights adjust more easily?
I understand that on many Porsche models it really is only a matter of turning a screw.

Litronics can be adjusted.

Black insulating tape perfectly serviceable on normal lights.

BTW anyone tried a HIDS upgrade on 996 lights?

Porsche stickers part # 955 631 137 00 for standard headlights. About £20 inc VAT. Make sure you get a photocopy of the workshop manual/parts catalogue page so you know where they go. The pages my parts guy gave me have the following references on the bottom

You will also need a small ruler or tape measure as the plastic light covers on the car do not have the registration marks on them.

There is a section in the workshop manual which shows the dimensions of the masking film and where to position it. If anyone would like a copy, email me and I'll attach it to a reply.

tiskev,

We went to Geneva also. How did you find the vehicle in the snow? We had a very scary moment going down an alpine pass. The 255 section standard tyres were just like a sledge - no brakes and no steering!

Hi Mike,
Afraid I took the easy route BY TRAIN so no snow problems. One of my sons came up from Meribel to meet us on the last friday and after he left it was so bad they actually closed the roads and the kids were stuck on the school coach for 3 hours. |Good job it was not here they would have still been on it.I always get trouble with the Cayenne at altitude the headlights steam up.And if I can dig them out I have some shots from a couple of years ago when I drove it up to the ski lifts. Don't try it The standard tyres are u/s I bought a new set of wheels and intended to fit Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow but did not get round to it yet.Thought it would be cheaper to put the Landy on the train and drive in from Lyon!!!!!
