Headlight bulb recommendation........

Looking to replace the rather yellow looking current fitments with something a closer match to my LED sidelights.

I'm after something with more of a blue tinge - higher deg K temp? but not the Chavvy type with the blue coloured coating. I'm not drawn to an HID conversion purely because they don't seem to have been a popular fitment with 944 owners.

Suggestions on H.4 bulbs appreciated

I've just fitted Halfords extreme brilliance +90% bulbs and am very happy with them, my thread on removing the headlamps will be further down this page or the next, take a look.

I've been trying "ordinary" 55w Xenon bulbs in my SAAB and they look whiter + brighter. Altogether I'm very pleased...started with Osram Silver Star, both of which blew within a few months, so I'm now using Autobulbs Direct own brand Xenons and they've lasted a lot better. Will put some on the 944 when I get round to it (but don't use the car often at night TBH).

I got these http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/product_honours_2007/208754/accessory_of_the_year_philips_xtreme_power.html

Made a BIG difference to the ones already in the headlights, especailly when on dip.
