headlight bulb upgrade 964

Need to improve the headlights on my 964. I dont want to change the casings at this point. Ideally just upgrade with LED bulbs. Any advice/options would be appreciated.

Suggest you take note of the MOT Inspection Manual on gov.uk before making a decision:
"Existing halogen headlamp units on vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1986 must not be converted to be used with high intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp for light source and lamp not compatible".

Of course some testers don't seem to take any notice, but many do, especially since the recent noise increase in the press about dazzle from LED lights.

Many thanks for your reply, much appreciated.

But since my response above I've just read the article in the latest 911 & Porsche World where Dan Furr converts his 944 Turbo lights to plug and play LEDs from classiccarleds.co.uk. Doesn't mention the MOT!
