All you can do with the switchs is clean the contacts or renew the hole switch no parts sold separately

i can remember changing the indicator stalk some years ago, what sticks in the mind is the amount of wires that come from the stalk and the position you find yourself in, in the drivers footwell trying to connect the spades, not a job when it is freezing cold.

Thanks 3.2 owners for your info. As my car is used every day I will wait for lighter evenings

agree with 75pno, i replaced my indicator stalk about a year back as the high beam kept tripping on by itself.
Wasnt particularly difficult, just very fiddly, there is quite a loom of wires that you have to chase back through under the dash, meaning you have to be fairly particular as you go. I think about 7 connectors/contact points to refit.
You also need to spend an hour upside down in the footwell to do the work.

So if you are ok with the grovel and careful 'substitution' of the wiring then go for it.

I think my part cost about £80 and i dont think there was anyway to replace internal parts etc. To be honest the old part was original and completed good service, the new stalk felt nice and smooth/taut so i am pleased i have replaced and have peace of mind now.

Cheers
