Headlight position

Afternoon all, searched for this but didn't turn anything up, can anybody tell me how to adjust the position of a pop-up light unit when it is down? My nearside unit goes a little too far down. Thanks, bennyboy.

The mounting brackets for the whole assembly (where the driven bar is connected) have elongated holes for adjustment. Slacken off with a 10mm spanner and wriggle around until it sits right. Easy peasy.

Where the red arrow is is just the tip of the bracket (one on each side) which suspends the connecting rod. Each of these brackets is attached to the car with adjustable mountings. Slacken off both sides and you can waggle the whole lot about until it looks right. I did this on mine to cope with uneven shut lines. Once you've loosend them off it's quite easy.

Lovely! I have always wondered how to do this (and thought it was impossible!)

One of my light buckets sits a smidge too low ... now I know what I'll be doing this weekend!

Oli.

to raise the headlight with it turned off, you must disconnect the battery, and the motor for raising the lights can be manually raised with an adjuster under the rubber sleeve on the top
