Has anyone had a problem with their headlight washers?? One of mines when operated will continually leak water from the water jet until the washer bottle is empty???

An easy fix?? Bumper off and replacment headwasher 'squirty' thing?? OPC or indie??

Pain in the backside that's what it is, but would welcome some advice..........no comment lads about the squirty thing............I don't know what the right terminology is [:)]!!!!

I've been unhappy with my screen washers since day one, but not for the reason you describe. The 997 washer jets produce a fine but feeble 'spray' which is pretty useless when the roads are laden with salt. The powerful washer jets of my previous Boxster were much better. OPC says they are fine, as they would. Cant'y help you I'm afraid but good independent would be my advice.

One of mine packed in on my previous 996 - this involved removing the bumper but was replaced under warranty. I don't have much call to use them so the fault could have been symptomatic of lack of use...

I'm sure that's why one of mines is playing up. Booked into an indie for tomorrow so I'll let you know. I hate it when things don't work even if they are so trivial!!

Thanks for the help though.

Hi guys..........

Just to let you know, an indi fixed it. Replacement needed and the bumber did have to come off. Done at half the price of an OPC though!!!
