Headlight washers not working

I assume the pump has either failed or is blocked with 'gunk' - but where is it???????? Is it easy access?[]

The pump's on the side of the washer bottle. You get access to it by removing the nearside headlight.

windscreen and headlamp pump sit side by side on the fluid reservoir, it is normally the pump that fails, often through lack of use, mine did, and it is easy to access the pumps, just pop out the nearside headlight and all will be plain to see. The pumps are easy to remove but getting enough slack on the hoses and cables to remove and change is a different story, I ended up extending both. By the way if you do need a pump I got mine from Bert, I found his price by far the cheapest and he had stock. I recall though that the 993 pump was obsolete and was substituted for a 996 item, which was no problem, just a change of connector

Try swapping out the relay, that's what it was on mine. By the way, you know they only work with the headlights and ignition on ?

I think it was only the screen wash pump that was superceded by the 996 unit wasn't it?

I did not have to change my screen wash pump, just the headlight washer, maybe the same pump? was certainly told it was obsolete
