Headlights will not go back down !!! Help !

I have got a fault with the headlights , they will not go down ! When I went to turn them off , they stayed half way , they look like the lazy eye option available for the Toyota MR2 ! Can anyone give me any pointers please thanks.
 
If nothing else, pull the cover from the headlight lifter motor, and twiddle the knob on the end.
Watch your fingers lest the motor then picks up and carrys on. One thing to watch out for is I have seen the bonnet release cable caught up in the headlight lift mechanism - this will stop them going back down properly... it can also pull all the connectors and wires out the back of the fusebox on early dash cars!
 
I had that cable get caught in the mechanism on one of my 924's - watch your fingers when you start fiddling about becasue as soon as you clear the blockage it may start up again!
 
Panic over , the alarm black box came loose and lodged behind the NS light bracket ! All back to normal now thank the good lord !
