Heads up on Ebay - 36k turbo engine!

Hi guys,

not sure if any of you have seen this but looks like good value at £500.

I have my eye on such item ! But again might claim to be 36K but has been stood for 13years or so ! Like the saying goes , be carefull what you wish for ! I spoke to Chris the owner of the engine who used to run a Posche repair center and yes it does sound Kosher , he did say if he was going to use the engine he would take the head of and check the bores ! I asked him if it was free and he said it was !

I bought a late M44/52 from a well known Porsche breakers in the NorthWest recently , got it home took the sump off to replace the sump gasket , I found the crank to be Blue on each Conrod ! sign of severe overheating . Took it back and no problem getting a full refund !
This 36K engine sounds to good to be true !!!!!!!!
