heas gasket change cost

Big Load

New member
hi
I have just had my car collected by Parr Porsche to check why i have excessive petrol smells from my exhaust plus on cold start white smoke. if it turns out to be a head gasket how much is a reasonable cost to fix it?

plus i am hearing a whirring sound from the gearbox. if it is the diff at fault what should be reasonable costs to repair that.

Does anyone know if Parr do a discount for Porsche club members. i have not asked them as yet because i was in doubt that they would actually discount the costs of repairs.

Hi,

Give Paul Anderson a call he is very knowledgeable on these cars (he looks after my 3) and he will give a good idea of what this should cost his number 07816668088

Hope this helps

hi jonn
I think i will take your advise and call him. he is 200 miles from me so it would have to be a day out. luckily no head gasket problem but i do have a whining sound at low speeds that bugs the hell out of me.
