Heated rear window

Well, that was a bust.

Was trying to trace why my HRW was so lethargic. Found the left-hand connecting wire from strut to window was a bit knackered, so I fashioned a new one. Unfortunately, as I was gently pressing the new connector onto the spade connection on the window, it came away...

So now I have no means of connecting strut to window, and apparently soldering the connector back on might result in cracked glass.

Anyone got a magic solution for this please? Is there a reliable conductive adhesive or something that'll do the job? It's like driving a van without a working HRW this time of year...

Cheers, Craig.

Craig.
Yes there is a conductive adhesive just for this very problem.
Cant just remember its name at the mo, but if you can wait a few days i have a tube in the garage, ill dig it out and let you know.
