I have often read about the plastic clip which, when it breaks causes the heater on oval dash cars to blow hot only. It has happened to me now. Does anyone have a part nuimber for the clip or recent supplier? I have a copy of PET but it doesn't seem to show the clip.Bert at Berlyn doesn't stock them and my loical OPC (Nottingham) aren't sure which part it is although they tried hard to help. Thanks in advance. Tony.

I bought some of those clips from Exeter OPC but cannot find the invoice.
A quick search reveals to be the offending items. The first should be the plastic clip and the second a metal bit that fits over the front.
944.572.314.00 and 944.572.217.00
Perhaps someone could verify as being correct?
OT but - Tony - do you mind me asking if you went to William Crane?
