Heater Footwell Flap Motor

If anyone has one going spare I can give it a good home. Mine has seized solid. Willing to pay of course. Cheers guys.

I've dismantled the HVAC servo motors and got them working again without any major difficulty. I can't remember which one but they are all the same. I don't remember precisely what was necessary but it wasn't a hard job at all. I seem to recall that I happened to have a small wire brush of the right size to fit down the barrel of the motor once the armature was removed which made cleaning it up easier, but no part of the job was difficult.

Don't bin the old one yet! (And even if it is seized then I bet it's a standard motor which you could get for a couple of quid if you can identify it. Try the RS catalogue.)

Oli.

Thanks Oli I already have it stripped and it is rusted in solid. Probably from when I had the front up to fetch the engine out. There was some water ingress into the car. Just thought I would save a job that's all. If all else fails I will try to repair it.

I remembered today I had another broken one and managed to cobble a good one together out of the two units. Job now sorted. Thanks Oli.
