Heater matrix replacement. Anyone ever done this on an S2?

I know that its dash out job.

Don't just want it for the summer.

Not sure what you mean by don't want it for the summer ?

I've never done the heater matrix - but yes, you'll definitely have to take the dash out, not a difficult or complex job, just very time consuming and labour intensive as it's very well nailed in !

I have just done it for a customer

Took 6 hours

Removed front seats, console, radio, steering wheel, dash trim, indicator unit, upper panel, A trims, dash

then removed outer scuttle, heater cover and motor

removed pipes in engine bay

undid c clips, other parts, moved heater unit forward and eased matrix out.

Then everything else in reverse

Then topped up fluids and bleed system.

if you need more info on price for doing the job you can call on 07514 944 964.

Or you can call for some advise.

Regards
