Strange one this, I have a problem with an inoperative heater motor, i.e. Nothing works, at all. And stranger still, I don't even own a Porsche!
I put a deposit on a 44 at the weekend, and on the test run it was established that the motor didn't work. Was working the previous day. I have no reason to doubt the current owners comment as he seems a very decent chap (has owned this vehicle for 14 years!).
My question is - Is there a common known fault on the heater system? (could it be any number of things?) If so, is it generally a simple fix or could I end up either spending hundreds of pounds at a specialist, or even wrestling the dashboard out myself and inventing some new swear words?
I know I'm jumping the gun a bit here but if theres a possibility its going to be a mamoth job I may have to negotiate the price. Don't really want to but.......
may just be a fuse after all this!
