Got an issue with my 944 heater, cant control the thermostat and so only blows hot air.

Will be selling it v.soon and would like to know what could possibly be wrong with it, how to fix it or how much to fix it.

Nice one, i'll give that a try. I've been cooking myself for the past year so hopefully I can fix it soon.

This is a problem that I had when I first bought my 944 and I was soooo pleased when I found it to be a cheap clip repair rather than heater replacements etc[:)]

If that doesn't fix it, next bet is Heater Control Valve & the vacuum lines that drive it - found a big hole in one of mine!

Thanks to the link above I found the problem which is a broken clip. Awkward to get to but will only cost a few pence to fix. Wish I had asked ealier and I may not have had to suffer long journeys in a slow cooker!

Not sure why but the clip was on the passenger side unlike the link posted above.

Thanks

It's a LHD car in the link [:D]

Even though Porsche moved the wheel over they left most of the bits you can't see in the same place
