Heaters too hot

Some of you may know of a ham-handed AA man who has recently screwed my electrics, well I've got the beast booked in for repair on the 22nd March. Until then I can live with the problems - no central locking, no ABS, no wiper squirters etc etc

One thing I can't live with though is - BURNING FEET!!! My feet feel like they're melting!

I had a new vacuum water heating thingy installed in Aug last year so it's not that. Must be electrical, is there a fuse or something I can pull so I don't have medium to well done feet?
