Heating Backdate

This is probably a query for Bones because I know that he has done this job. The bits to backdate my heating system are due to arrive on Monday and I am keen to get it done asap. Silly question really, but what do you do with the wiring for the blower motor? Without guidance I would tape up each individual wire and then secure it neatly to the rest of the loom somewhere in the engine bay. Is there a tidier solution that someone with limited electrical knowledge could effect?
Thanks
Ian

Ian do as you have already said, simply tape the terminals over and secure to the loom. The left ducting may require a little 'modification' (with a soft-headed hammer) to fit around the distrubutor, don't try and force it in there if it doesn't fit immeadiately, call me if you are unsure.

Thanks Bones, will do. If I remember I'll post a couple of before and after pictures hopefully showing how much less cluttered the engine bay is.

Probably another one for Bones I'm afraid!! I have stripped all of the trunking, blower motor etc and started fitting the various bits. The right hand side was straight forward, the left side less so. The pipe for the oil-fed chain tensioners is fouling the underside of the metal trunking. I do not want to force it to fit and then have the pipe fail, so is it movable or do I need to introduce a small 'dent' to the underside of the trunking?
Any ideas gratefully received.
Thank you and a happy Xmas.
Ian

PS Pictures to follow

Don't bend the pipe Ian, 'modify' the ducting with a soft heade hammer and respray it, I had to reshape mine to fit around the dizzy you may have to do that too depending on which years parts you have.

Thanks Bones, I though that might be the answer but wasn't sure if these was another way of fiddling it.
Cheers
Ian
