Just wondering if anyone has been on a trip to the outer Hebrides in their Porsche - I'm planning a trip from Oban to Barra, then South and North Uist, and finally Harris and Lewis, then back to the mainland to Ullapool in May/June next year. I know most of the roads are single track and that fast driving is out of the question and am happy with just cruising around (hopefully with the roof down) and enjoying the scenery and my car.
I'm used to ferries with living on the Isle of Man, but wondering if there is anything else I should be wary of (besides sheep!) in my travels - in particular do any of the ports have particularly steep ramps making boarding and disembarking without grounding difficult?
Thanks,
Gordon
