As usual I spent far too much time chatting and didn't even take any photos.

It was however the most amazing day celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the 2.7RS.

Much will be written and thousands of photos were taken by others, I hope to be aired freely.

But most amazingly of all, I found this on the seat of my 993RS ... for the Development Car.

Thankyou [:)]

P.S. Pics taken this evening, the gnats like the car as well [;)]

P.P.S. There's only one D in Hedingham .... it's been a busy but great day ....

Congratulations Chris, a well deserved trophy for a unique and fabulous 993 rs,
ps the ÂŁ20 in the tailpipe always helps[:D]

Wow! Well done Chris -makes it all worthwhile....now if a 964RS had been there to give you some competition.....[;)]

Well done Chris, it's a great looking car!.......

At Castle Heddingham, you say?.....

HhhMmmm.......Who was the previous owner of the car??? [:D]

Polisher! [:D]

Well done Chris, beautiful car. Was it singled out as THE car of the day, or were there several cars of the day for different models/ages?

Congratulations Chris, your car did look good.
Nice to see a couple of 993RS's driven and on display.
Shame there was no 964RS content. Those guys never seem to use their cars anymore. I guess they're just for investment these days......[;)]

I don't know Rich.

I only know what it says on the award --- but there were a number of other official prizes and presentations made at a formal ceremony late in the day.

As I said, this was on my passenger seat just before I went up to watch the award ceremony.

I've never won anything before [:)]

I assume it was for me [&:]

Just got back from the North West Arley Hall PCGB Event, won the class 3 concours for the 3rd year running, and also accumulated 213 point from a possible 230 giving me the 'Porsche of the show' trophy,
considering I was up against last years National Champion Hassan with his 2.7 RS quite pleased with the result [:D]

Congrats Steve, you will soon need a larger trophy cabinet!

213/230 is impressive, what did they mark the car down on?.....Based on that, what is achievable for next year? (unless you get the Ferrari!) [;)]

Paul long list of points available, based on exterior, interior, luggage bay, almost impossible to get maximum points on everything, did get 10/10 for freshly renovated seats though, Hassan with the 2.7 rs got some points deducted for incorrect dash board clock giving me a few more points to take
overall win on the day, Hassans rs is out of the box with a nut and bolt restoration at Freisinger in Germany so well chuffed at the result !
Need some front end paintwork to bumper and splitters to sort out stone chips, plus a few other things, takes time and money as you know.
