Heel and Toe assistance

Since moving to ceramic brakes I find it very difficult to heel and toe in my car. I just don't brake hard enough on public roads to then be able to 'reach' the throttle pedal to blip it.

One of my US friends told me about some Rennline pedals he had fitted to his 997 Turbo to help with heel and toe.

Along with the extensions you can get an adjustable throttle lifter to make it easier to reach across:

CoolCava racing here in the UK are Rennline resellers so I am going to get a set through them. Rennline are out of stock on some components currently so I have about a 3 week wait. I will let you all know once fitted if they solve my problem!!

Nice - I can't tell from the picture (or link) but is there a lot of work to fit, removing original pedals and all that?

Cannga took 45 mins to fit himself. You need to drill holes... [:D] Me, I passed that point a LONG time ago [8D]

Alex, I find it much easier to heel and toe when in sport setting as the throttle pedal is that much more responsive and only needs the lightest of touches. Very difficult in normal mode unless you have very flexible ankles and dextorous feet. Of all the changes you have made to your car Alex what do you think is the best? I certainly enjoy my Turbo more with the aftermarket exhaust. I still dont understand why the Turbo is the only car in the range that Porsche wont supply a sports exhaust for. The GT2 sounds much better

In order (of preference, and actually fitted in that order): #1 HRE P40 wheels (makes the looks of the car IMHO) #2 Cargraphic/RS-Tuning ECU remap (super smooth turbo delivery and so much more power - probably the best Stage II kit in the world) #3 Cargraphic/RS-Tuning Exhaust + BMC sports air-filter (sounds amazing) #4 Geometry changed to 'fast-road' (factory setup feels like walking in Wellington boots, fast road alignment will feel like dancing in trainers around corners) #5 Bilstein B16 Damptronics (creamier ride) #6 GMG suspension kits (stiffens things up)
I still dont understand why the Turbo is the only car in the range that Porsche wont supply a sports exhaust for.
Porsche tried and gave up.
